Christmas is over, which means my hard core baking days are over for a bit.  Have I ever mentioned how difficult it is to take on a baking project with two under two?  A couple hour endeavor would take an entire day!  Until now, I haven’t been brave enough to let Kate bake with me.  She often helps me prep dinner, but baking?  Eggs, butter, spoons, and a 20 month old?  They don’t seem like a safe combination to me!

Betty Crocker sent me a sugar cookie mix and I thought that would be a good “first baking session” experiment with my girl.  I have two cookie presses in my pantry that I’ve never used (gasp!) and I thought this would be a fun time to try one out!  We had a great time mixing, spritzing, and decorating together.  Here’s a little documentation of our cookie morning (while Brother napped, of course).
